life after covid
Visuals by Grace Porter
Before Covid-19, medical masks were not typically worn in a western society, however now the majority of people can be seen wearing blue surgical masks in attempt to protect themselves against the coronavirus. “Life After Covid” is my prediction on how society will be wearing masks in the future. Much like how clothing was first worn as a form of protection against the cold, masks could serve as another form of self-expression rather than the intended purpose. Will masks be the new “It” accessory for fashion weeks to come, or will this trend slowly die out.
